We’re here to help mums in business, do business.

I had an extremely terrible pregnancy and I believe terrible is even an understatement as my Obstetrician and all the Dr’s that were involved in my case will tell you so. So this is where the story of MumpreneurUnited was birthed although not immediately actioned. After having our daughter this experience and journey quickly reaffirmed my all time desire to be an entrepreneur. I was a Mum with a new born and a life altering major operation that left me in a state of shock for the longest time. I literally did not fit societies narrative of an employee, at least that is what the aftermath of my pregnancy said. From a young age I always wanted to be my own boss but it wasn’t until 2014 that I realised how much this would become an important factor in my life.

After being in a job and steady income it was hard to walk away but my life took turns that made it impossible to return to work. I quickly realised i had become complacent and comfortable with the bribe called a salary and it was simply robbing me my time and stopping me from realising my full potential. I quickly started to think of ways to earn some sort of income and that is when ideas I had drawn up and sort of started working on in 2010 started to be re-ignited. Fast-forward to 2017 and 7 years later, ideas activated and married. We are steadily becoming financially free. However, there are a few things I’ve come to realise about being an entrepreneur or Mumpreneur as I like to call it. It is not always easy. It can be harder than it first seems. You will find that it is a lonely journey, but when you finally turn ideas into reality its incredible and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

In 2016 I started as a way to connect with like-minded business women and what I like to call boss-mums from all over the world. This for me was an opportunity to reward and recognise mums who are trying their best to juggle family life and also trying to build an empire.  MumpreneurUnited for me was a portal where Mums can keep motivated, get encouraged, learn from others how they overcome challenges and what things they’ve learnt along the way. simply put is a platform to connect Mums in business. I absolutely love it. We hold an annual Tea party where successful women come and share and exchange ideas. You get to meet friends and mentors who can help propel your business to a greater heights. We are growing and expanding. Make sure you get involved and buy a ticket and attend one of our events as you will not be disappointed. We also run an exclusive mentoring scheme yearly where we help women advance their business.
